Our family campground provides a great starting point for adventures into the unknowns of Bruce County’s wilderness. We have 65 sites located along the banks of the Saugeen River and just minutes from the town of Walkerton, which is famous for its old-fashioned hospitality. 

Most of our sites provide full service hook-ups for today’s recreational vehicles and trailers. Our washroom/shower facility is fitted with softened hot water and the campground store provides you with all your basic camping necessities. We also welcome the river tourists to stop in as they paddle their way downstream past our place to stretch their legs and refresh themselves. A cold drink or treat from our store is a wonderful experience after hours of paddling a boat under the hot summer sun.

Enjoy some tenting under our big cedar canopy along the river’s edge. Play some horseshoes at our tournament pits, throw hoops at our basketball pad or maybe try a little shuffleboard, or even just take a walk and enjoy the sights and sounds that our little garden paradise offers. Your kids will enjoy our playground or you can take them to our fishing pond. Just take a seat and watch your little ones develop their angling skills while doing a little game fishing.

For those hot summer days we offer our customers rental canoes and kayaks which really make the adventure happen. Enjoy some of the hottest Smallmouth Bass fishing in Ontario with our specially outfitted Angling kayaks. Another great summer activity is to just float lazily down the river on some of our smaller Sit on Top kayaks.

Remember that the greatest camping memories are made from relaxing night time events like sitting around and enjoying the soothing sights and sounds of a crackling campfire with your family and friends. So, do something crazy this summer, “Come Camping with us” – you’ll be glad you did.
