Brockton will host Doors Open Walkerton & Area on Saturday, September 25, 2010! Don't miss this amazing event when 17 area homes and other heritage and sites of interest will be opened to the public for self-guided tours.

The Doors Open Walkerton & Area event takes place between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.



The following locations have been selected for viewing:

♦  David Milne Schoolhouse
♦  Victoria Jubilee Hall
♦  St. Thomas Anglican Church and Rectory
♦  Cargill House
♦  Hartley House Hotel
♦  Brant Bridge
♦  Viewfield/Shaw House
♦  Walker House
♦  Valentine/Starks Mill
♦  Dunkeld Restaurant
♦  Hall House
♦  Greenock Swamp
♦  Shaw/Taylor House
♦  Walkerton Carnegie Library
♦  Heritage Water Garden

The Doors Open Ontario guide is available at the Walkerton & District Chamber of Commerce office. The guide features 10 of the local sites to be showcased on September 25th. To learn more about these sites click here

The Doors Open Walkerton & District brochure, complete with maps and detailed information about the 17 sites, will be available for pick-up on Sept. 25th at Victoria Jubilee Hall, 111 Jackson Street, Walkerton.
